Charles Bronson (crusading movie star in the Death Wish movies) had nothing on today’s do-gooder carrying the Stampede ECS. The ‘deadly weapon’ boasts Nerf’s highest dart capacity shot to date. Blasting through ammunition with this automatic weapon can be easily followed up by the quick and easy insertion of another 18 round clip. Worried about incoming fire? Don’t be! Fire from the enemy will be blocked, at least when it comes to your face, by the see through blast shield. Fun doesn’t begin to describe what you can accomplish with this three shots per second, high powered, Nerf blaster. And if circumstances don’t permit the shooter to hold the gun steadily, a pop out tripod is included to steady their shots or allow shooting from the prone position.

Nerf has been supplying not only kids but adults with softer, safer and lighter ways to enjoy sports and other activities for years. You can’t go to one single tailgate party without seeing several Nerf Football’s flying through the air. The little guys can play just like big guys with Nerf sports equipment, and adults love the fact that everything Nerf puts out is fun for all. The Stampede ECS is no exception. And by weighing in at 5 pounds, it’s durable, thick plastic construction gives it just enough heft to it to make it feel a little more like the real thing. One young marauder that reviewed the stampede ECS liked the look and feel enough that he felt it necessary to give its special mention (yellow and orange with raised camouflage detailing). It has an amazing number of rails upon which to mount the separately purchased ‘gizmos’ that Hasbro has put out (like flashlights and such) which gives it a nice tactical appearance. The access door is easily opened in the case of dart jams (which he never experienced in over 200 shots). Loading and reloading of clips is easier than ever before and the gun comes equipped with a safety not only for caution but to save the life of your battery.

Conclusion
Your little soldier will have the time of their life bunkering down with this automatic, rapid fire ‘weapon’. With two carrying handles in addition to the one trigger handle, any tiny trooper can carry his firearm into battle confidently and courageously. Whether it’s in the basement or the backyard, the 30 foot firing length should reach the enemy easily and swiftly. Squeezing the trigger one time will fire off a single accurate shot; whereas holding down the trigger will feverishly dispense an amazing three foam darts per second.
